Details
Hello,
Every time I run Mozilla (1.1, etc.), a warning from Zone Alarm tells me
Mozilla is asking for server rights. This occurs even when performing a
minimal install.
Bug report #99806 and subsequent reports fail to address this issue. There
should be no legitimate reason for the browser to need to have this "feature".
The fix mentioned in the previous bug report was to upgrade to 3.x of Zone
Alarm for a fee. Can someone do something with this?
Thanks!
Aaron
Hello,
I assigned this to the wrong area. This should be a general issue instead.
Sorry about that.
If I do a minimal install (seemingly browser only), what is Mozilla
communicating with via calls or port-related work that sets off Zone Alarm?
Should I contact the Zone Alarm staff about this instead?
Thanks,
Aaron

Fix zonealarm ?
Mozilla use 2 internal conections (loopback)
There is no security risk but why ZA alerts you ?
It should alert you if something wants to connect it from outside and block that.
(All other firewalls are using this way)
