It's time for our first #BeYouAtTR - Intern Edition of the summer! Meet Vedant, a Software Engineer Intern on our ONESOURCE team in Toronto. "As a #TRIntern, I appreciate the work-life balance that Thomson Reuters creates. The friendly work culture and efforts in planning memorable events provide ample opportunities to socialize and feel welcomed in the Toronto office. Working on the ONESOURCE Tax provision platform has been particularly rewarding, offering me numerous learning opportunities and a sense of achievement when I see my contributions reflected in the deployed software. What stands out most about my experience so far is the willingness of everyone at Thomson Reuters —whether it's another intern, a team member, or a manager—to offer support and answer questions. Such a supportive culture is rare, and I feel fortunate to be part of the Thomson Reuters community." #WorkingAtTR

#ThrowbackThursday to an inspiring volunteer event with the Global Volunteer Network team in Costa Rica! Earlier this year, our colleagues celebrated International Women's Day with the incredible women of Fundación Rahab, a Costa Rican non-profit dedicated to supporting victims of human trafficking and sexual exploitation. Our team participated in an enlightening awareness session highlighting the critical issue of modern slavery in Latin America. Together, we strive to raise awareness and offer support to those affected. A big thank you to the Global Volunteer Network team in Costa Rica for making such a positive impact in their community. #WorkingAtTR #CostaRica

The ceremony included charitable donations to community non-profit organizations, remarks from Eagan Mayor Mike Maguire, and site co-lead Elizabeth Beastrom, President of Tax and Accounting Professionals. Thomson Reuters was also honored to host special guests Steve Hasker, President and CEO, David Thomson, Board Chairman, and Vance Opperman, Retired Board member and former President of West Publishing. The Landing is designed with a focus on collaboration, flexibility, and the health and wellbeing of our employees.
