I help health researchers manage data better. I create custom electronic tools that make collecting data easier and speed up analysis.
I just finished listening to a podcast from TDR, and something Francine Ntoumi shared really caught my attention. She talked about how one of the biggest challenges in fighting malaria in the Republic of Congo and Central Africa is the lack of accurate data. Without reliable data, it is hard to know when and where to target interventions effectively. It is like trying to bake a cake without a recipe, you might end up with something interesting, but it is probably not what you wanted ! She also mentioned that in some areas, especially for vector control, decisions are still being made using data that’s over 15 years old due to a shortage of entomologists. I think this is the reality in some places across Africa, old data being used to make current decisions. It really emphasises how crucial real-time data is for making informed choices. #MalariaAwareness #DataMatters #PublicHealth #DigitalHealth #HealthInnovation #RealTimeData #VectorControl #AfricaHealth #InformedDecisions #HealthForAll Link: https://lnkd.in/eEbv6C-d
