James Banning
James H. Banning Jim Banning is professor emeritus in the School of Education at Colorado State University. After receiving his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University of Colorado-Boulder, his career has focused on student services administration, ecological/environmental psychology, and the application of environmental psychology to educational settings. He has particularly focused on the application of the ecological perspective and the development of the campus ecology model and has taught a course in campus ecology in the Student Affairs in Higher Education Program at Colorado State University for more than thirty years and continues to teach an online version. In addition to teaching, Jim has had administrative leadership experience in the roles of Director of Counseling and Testing, University of Colorado
