English: The Codex Vindobonensis 9401 or Codex Sannazarii, as Sir Cecil Clementi (Pervigilium Veneris. The Vigil of Venus, 3rd edition, Oxford: Blackwell 1936, pp. 42–47) calls it, is a 16th century “Sammelmanuskript” containing miscellaneous matter, today in the Austrian National Library at Vienna. The central part of the codex is of special interest because it consists of 16 folios (i.e., 32 pages) written by Jacopo Sannazaro himself (see Clementi, ibidem), probably between 1501 and 1503 (according to D. R. Shackleton Bailey in his 1982 edition of the Anthologia Latina, p. VI). These pages are a source of some importance for the so-called Anthologia Latina, esp. for the Pervigilium Veneris. The codex is denoted by the letter W in editions of the Anthologia Latina (Shackleton Bailey 1982) and by the letter V in many editions of the Pervigilium Veneris (e.g., Clementi 1936).

Auflage, Oxford: Blackwell 1936, S. 42–47) die Handschrift nennt, ist ein sog. Sammelmanuskript aus dem 16. Jahrhundert, das verschiedene Texte enthält und sich heute in der Österreichischen Nationalbibliothek in Wien befindet. Der mittlere Teil des Codex ist von besonderem Interesse, da er aus 16 Blättern (also 32 Seiten) besteht, die von Jacopo Sannazaro selbst geschrieben wurden (vgl. Clementi ebd.), wahrscheinlich zwischen 1501 und 1503 (so D. R. Shackleton Bailey in seiner Ausgabe der Anthologia Latina von 1982, S. VI). Diese Seiten bilden eine einigermaßen wichtige Quelle für die Anthologia Latina, v.a. für das Pervigilium Veneris. Der Codex wird in Ausgaben der Anthologia Latina mit dem Buchstaben W bezeichnet (Shackleton Bailey 1982), in vielen Ausgaben des Pervigilium Veneris (z.B. bei Clementi 1936) mit dem Buchstaben V.
