Bad name for a category. Also underpopulated. --Cat out 13:53, 25 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. Delete it. Cary Bass demandez 22:15, 2 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I do not agree, I think it can stay. --ALE! ¿…? 21:38, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Terrorists was deleted from English wikipedia years ago as it is a) a POV term; b) quite possibly libelous since it doesn't give attribution for the accusation. Moreover, the existing categories "Organizations designated as terrorist‎" and "People convicted on terrorism charges‎" are more than sufficient, so this category is unnecessary as well as problematic. - Themightyquill (talk) 16:07, 5 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

KeepThe persons in the list are noted for acts of terrorism. the name with the category helps editors in getting required images. the list should stay--DBigXray (talk) 13:45, 18 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Comment: I'm not sure I understand your argument. Would you like to address any of the reasons I gave for deleting the category? - Themightyquill (talk) 15:14, 19 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Info I listed this page to the todays deletion request page and informed the creator. --JuTa 13:01, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Per en:Definitions of terrorism, "There is neither an academic nor an international legal consensus regarding the definition of the term terrorism." The label "terrorists" has been placed both on people who commit crimes considered appalling by almost the entire world, and also used by oppressive dictatorships as the label for all who oppose their regimes. If we are to use the term here, we should probably define what we mean by it. This category might be best made into a {{Metacat}}, with no individual files, and subcategories like "People convicted of terrorist crimes" etc. -- Infrogmation (talk) 19:03, 31 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Delete/Rename as "Designated terrorists" or somethign similar. This is highly POV and only lists non-state terrorists which is huighly dubious. It lists "al qaeda" members, when not all have been designated as "terrorists" Using that logic states that label other state actions as terrorists should have all their employees listed as suchLihaas (talk) 13:14, 24 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
