This image is incorrectly labeled as the 'Hausa Flag,' which does not accurately represent the cultural or historical flag of the Hausa people. The uploaded image does not align with the authentic cultural representation of the Hausa people and is misleading Gwanki (talk) 10:45, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I support the delete of this flag because we don't have any flag that is represent Hausa language Sadammuhammad11234 (talk) 11:11, 17 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Keep This may be not a "cultural flag" but i do not think than it's a fake flag either. This flag and is variant with central black stripe (instead of blue) seem to come from this site. The site give Flags of Aspirant Peoples 1994 & Encyclopaedia Universalis as sources for the fags. So this flag do not come from nowhere. Maybe this was related to the Arewa Republic? In any case, this deletion request may be politically orientated and need a more clear rationale than " does not align with the authentic cultural representation of the Hausa people". Kept: In use and therefore within scope. The accuracy of a contested flag is up to the project(s) using it to decide, not Commons. --The Squirrel Conspiracy (talk) 09:24, 24 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
