The March 2023 replacement of the original file should be deleted. There are supposed to be seven strips below the canton (star area), not six. Also, the stars differ from Mr. Williams concept flag design. I had a personal email from Mr. Williams asking me to restore the original image, but I don’t know how to do that. The flag today does not have the same stripe configuration, so the user may have thought this flag should be consistent with the current flag, but that is incorrect. The version that added a border is fine, but this most recent change is not. Mr. Williams' original article with this image is: Williams, Earl P. Jr. (October 2012). Kept Non-admin closure. This is a request to restore an earlier version of an image per COM:OVERWRITE. As the replacement is disputed, I have reverted to the previous version. The replacement image was copied from File:Hopkinson Flag.svg and the earlier overwrite created a duplicate file. Both versions are now available for projects to choose their preference.
