Was published for the first time in 1956, according to the description. No grounds to declare it public domain. Blacklake (talk) 10:02, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comment hmm... i am dubious. Due to the subject of the pic it should have been published way before, when USSR were invaded by German troops. It may be referred to the fact there were a lot of Ukrainians in the German SS. Soviet leader in 1956 was Chruščëv and it was very unlikely he (who was Ukrainian) issued such propaganda. It seems more like Stalin's propaganda. -- Blackcat (talk) 16:14, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This drawing is from the 2nd edition of book "Під чужими прапорами" by w:Vladimir Pavlovich Belyayev and uk:Рудницький Михайло Іванович. The first one was in 1954. Besides, when dealing with such sheer anti-Soviet movements as OUN, post-Stalin propaganda was hardly any different from Stalin's one. Anyway, we have no proof that this caricature has been published 70+ years ago and anonymously (usually Soviet books mention names of their illustrators) or its author died 70+ years ago. --Blacklake (talk) 20:34, 25 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hmmm... that means the file is not free? -- Blackcat (talk) 12:12, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose so. --Blacklake (talk) 20:15, 27 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
