This picture depicts a monument designed by Louis Arretche (1905-1991), a French architect who died less than 70 years ago. This work of art is copyrighted and, as there is no Freedom of panorama in France, it won't be freely shared before 1st January 2062. For this reason, this picture must be removed from Wikimedia Commons.

--Txllxt TxllxT (talk) 11:04, 9 November 2018 (UTC) I do not agree with this request for deletion. The photos depict a Catholic Church: Église Sainte-Jeanne-d'Arc de Rouen. The photos have no commercial intention. Does the Catholic Church oppose to having photos of their legal properties published on Wikimedia Commons? I guess the Catholic Church welcomes all non-commercial photos of their churches that are published on Wikimedia Commons.[reply]

Commercial use has to be allowed for files on Commons. Catholic Church has nothing to do with this request, it's the copyright of the architect, who hasn't been dead for 70 years. So  Delete on this. We'll have to wait until copyright has expired unless heirs send OTRS permission or France changes their laws to allow Freedom of Panorama. Abzeronow (talk) 14:53, 15 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
