Can you link to your version? Also some license issues with this file. Source says "all rights reserved" which may be copyfraud, but there is no publication information on this 1950s-1960s photograph and the current license is wrong. Abzeronow (talk) 16:37, 27 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I have the same image of this file, but higher quality + original frames (I think mine is the original) I have difficulty to getting the image, and I have made some interface edits to my file, I don't know how to show you this until I'm overwriting the file. This file is widely used throughout Kurdistan, Iran and Iraq in public places, websites, cultural centers, events, government materials, and in various designs, eg: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7, no one owns it; the original file has no clear publication information, but given its extensive and widespread use, it's effectively part of the public domain in the region (maybe Iran) + it may date back to the 1950s or 60s, 'couse the person of the image died in 1972. to the best of my knowledge, the correct license for this file should be like this file, which is the same person. I'm not sure I am following, what seems to be the issue here with the existing file in regards to "black" and "white"? The only thing I can tell I messed up on was the Crunchyroll logo got slightly de-smoothed during the svg file conversion. This is a low quality non-native pronunciation of the native name of Estonia. I uploaded a higher quality native pronunciation a couple years ago, but to my surprise I discovered that the better pronunciation I uploaded has been split into a different file, and this low-quality pronunciation file is still used pretty much everywhere. I believe that I cannot overule Wiki projects which files they should or should not use, and I also believe that COM:OW doesn't allow such an overwrite. This is not a judgement of quality as I do think your file is an improvement but if you want your file to be used more than the other one, you'll have to replace usage manually. You are correct that it should not be CC BY-SA 4.0; good catch. However, given that the photo is dated to 1944 and the author is unknown—it's listed as the JCPML, but they're clearly not the real author given that the JCPML was established in 1998—it appears that this photo is PD under Australian law. @Abzeronow: The actual link is come from https://logos.fandom.com/wiki/File:DC_Comics_(1976).svg. The image appeared at Logopedia was different to this Wiki because the background is transparent. I'd like to use the official logo path from https://www.crunchyroll.com/i/svg/logo.svg with corrected colors (that file uses the old logo's color for whatever reason) → https://github.com/infanf/myanili/blob/b1025635d1d47254199cdabedd567f0d221408f3/frontend/src/assets/publisher/crunchyroll.svg.
