Description
English: Rio Negro, logo abaixo de São Gabriel da Cachoeira/AM. Região da "Cabeça do Cachorro", pelo formato da Fronteira Brasil Colômbia. As florestas estão em verde escuro e as roças dos indígenas estão representadas por pequenas manchas em verde claro e levemente avermelhadas, ao sul do rio. Ao norte do centro da imagem está a pista do aeroporto da cidade. Superfície da água está em preto, praias e corredeiras estão em branco, dentro do rio / Negro River, just below São Gabriel da Cachoeira, at Amazonas. At what is called Brazilian "Dog Head", because of Colombia Brazil border shape. Forest in dark green, some little light green and lightly redish spots, on river South, are indigenous people slash and burn crops. Town airport landing strip is above image center. River surface in black, with sand beaches and whitewater in white, on the river.
