Description
English: The monument aux morts (war memorial) at Soissons, another of the major cities of the Aisne, the monument aux morts has a statue by Albert Bartholomé and a series of bas-reliefs by Raoul Lamourdedieu (1877-1953). Lamourdedieu was a sculptor and medallist. He studied at the art school in Bordeaux and then at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts, Paris.
