Surprise — Runaway June’s Jennifer Wayne and singer/songwriter Austin Moody are married!
The couple tied the knot on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2021, less than two weeks after their engagement. People exclusively shared the news, revealing that Wayne, 38, and Moody, 29, exchanged vows in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida in front of just 20 guests.
“We are taking COVID very seriously and have requested that all of the guests receive a recent COVID test before attending,” the couple told the publication prior to their wedding day. “We are having the ceremony outdoors with plenty of room to social distance.”
The newlyweds hope to have a big party in Nashville to celebrate their nuptials once the pandemic is under control.

Wayne and Moody chose to wed in Santa Rosa Beach due to their love for the area and the water.
“Jennifer grew up on the beach, and there’s something so calming and healing about the ocean,” Moody explained. “We are having a boat ‘sail off’ after we tie the knot.”
Even though it was a beachside wedding, the pair was sure to incorporate their western roots.
“It’s a cowboy/cowgirl themed wedding,” they told People. “Everyone will be in boots and hats.”
Guests enjoyed a casual reception with catered food from Cowgirl Kitchen.

Wayne and Moody initially met five years ago, but didn’t begin dating until six months ago. They got engaged on December 28, 2020 and while they acknowledge it’s been a quick process, they said they “couldn’t wait a second longer” to get married.
The couple says they are “excited to start a life and family together.”
Jennifer Wayne is one third of country trio Runaway June. Austin Moody is a singer/songwriter whose latest single, “Who’s Got the Time,” is out now.
Lauren Jo Black, a University of Central Florida graduate, has immersed herself in the world of country music for over 15 years. During this time, she hosted 24 weeks of live concerts via Country Now Live on Twitch with special guests such as Lady A, Dierks Bentley, Jordan Davis, Brett Young, and Jon Pardi. Over the course of her career, she has had the privilege of conducting interviews with some of the industry’s most prominent stars, including Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton, Luke Combs, Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, and many others. Lauren Jo Black is a longtime member of the Country Music Association and the Academy of Country Music.
