Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na širokou problematiku náboženské konverze, zejména na příklad apoštola Pavla. Je psychologickou a teologickou reflexí jeho konverze ke křesťanství, jak ji popisují kanonické texty Nového zákona. První část podává teoretický náhled na místa výskytu obrácení apoštola Pavla ve Skutcích apoštolských a Pavlových epištolách. Pro potřeby této práce popisuje autorka ve stručnosti i metodu hagioterapie, techniku, která pojí znalosti teologie a psychologie. Autorka se zaměřuje i na psychologický pohled na náboženskou konverzi, jeho historii i současný stav bádání. Závěr práce sdružuje stanoviska teologie a psychologie. Zvláštní pozornost je zaměřena na Pavlovu osobnost, kterou se autorka snaží popsat psychologickou terminologií. Cílem této práce je popsat poznatky o příčinách a následcích obezity, jednoho z nejrozšířenějších zdravotních problémů ve světě. Mezi stěžejní témata teoretické části patří definice obezity, epidemiologie, etiologie, ale i prevence a léčba tohoto onemocnění. Klíčovým tématem jsou však psychologické charakteristiky, které se s tématem obezity pojí. Mezi ty byly zařazeny osobnostní faktory obézních jedinců, volní vlastnosti a sebekontrola, jakož i specifická psychopatologie. Výzkumná část této práce mapuje výskyt těchto specifických fenoménů se zaměřením na emocionální přejídání, syndrom nočního jedení, a příznaky poruch příjmu potravy. Použitými metodami byly "Dotazník jídelního chování a emocionality" (JICHEM), "The Eating Disorder Examination Questionnaire" (EDE - Q) a "The Night Eating Questionnaire" (NEQ). The aim of this thesis "Psychological Aspects of Obesity" is to summarize psychological findings of causes and consequences of obesity, the most common health problem in the world. This thesis extends the topic of the diploma thesis entitled "The Psychological problems of Obesity." The theoretical part deals with many key issues of obesity, from definition through the epidemiology, etiology and obesity prevention and treatment. However the main topics of this thesis are the psychological characteristics associated with obesity. It includes personality factors of obese people, willpower and self- control and specific psychopathology. The research part of this thesis is mapping the occurrence of a specific psychopathological phenomena focusing on the emotional eating disorder, night eating syndrome, binge eating and symptoms of eating disorder. This article focuses on one aspect of secularization, the one which affects and transforms the experience of God, also called religious experience. It is an interesting phenomenon that crosses religious beliefs and intersects with many various disciplines. In introductory part of this article the author discusses definition and different views of the term “religious experience”. The following part deals with the history of the concept of religious experience and describes important scholars, who were devoted to this phenomenon. In the main part of this article the author presents current situation and the importance of experience among believers. The outcome of this article supports the theory that secularization brings new forms of religiosity and makes religious experience more accessible to ordinary believers. Transient, ineffable and noetic feelings are no more a gift for privileged group of ascetics, but new kind of adventure, which everybody seeks.

The religious conversion is a phenomenon crossing many different disciplines and findings ranging from the medicine, through disciplines such are psychology, religious studies and theology. The aim of this paper is to meaningfully describe selected themes and trends of the religious conversion across its wide range. In the beginning chapter of this paper (I) is described the term religious conversion. Further (chapter II) are mentioned major scientific leaders who have dealt with this matter in its early stages. The final chapter (III) discusses mechanisms and circumstances under which the religious conversion takes place. Here are included various views from neuropsychological through sociological to depth-psychological.
