Abdul-Rasheed Yussif

My name is Abdul-Rasheed Yussif, Project Manager for the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group. I go by the username Din-nani1 on Wikimedia projects. I joined Wikimedia and started contributing its projects in 2015 as a volunteer to contribute to Dagbani Wikipedia and other Wikipedia sister projects. I'm a teacher with a background in Educational Psychology. I have coordinated several projects at the Dagbani Wikimedians User Group, the outcome of which contributed to Dagbani Wikipedia being approved as a fully fledged Wikipedia.

Wikipedia Journey

I joined and started contributing to Wikipedia in 2015, specifically to Dagbani Wikipedia(Incubator) and a bit of edits in English Wikipedia. I relaxed in contributing to Wikipedia due to a lack of motivation and technical know-how. I resumed editing and contributing effectively to Wikipedia and its sister projects in 2020 when I was guided,inspired and motivated by User:Shahadusadik.

I am the Project Manager of the [Wikimedians User Group], a young not-for-profit organization based in Ghana and working to support the 16 Mole-Dagbani languages on Wikipedia and its sister projects.

I currently serve as the Wikidata and Wikipedia ambassador under the auspices of Global Open Initiative Foundation for Jisonayili Community Library.
