U.S. import prices unchanged in June; export prices decline 0.5%

Prices for U.S. imports were unchanged in June after a decrease of 0.2 percent the previous month. U.S. export prices fell 0.5 percent in June following a 0.7-percent decline in May. Over the past year, import prices increased 1.6 percent and export prices advanced 0.7 percent.

U.S. export prices rose 0.7 percent from June 2023 to June 2024

U.S. export prices rose 0.7 percent from June 2023 to June 2024, after recording an increase of 0.5 percent for the 12 months ended May 2024. These were the first 12-month increases in export prices since January 2023.
