The Power of Community! Am Freitag -- parallel zum GER-ESP Spiel -- haben wir zusammen mit Michael Leibrecht und im Rahmen der Nürnberg Digital Festival NUEDIGITAL ein Community Event für Selbstständige gemacht. Und trotz des Spiels war die Bude voll! Und es war wie immer magisch. Das ist echt so krass. Ich hab ja nun schon ein paar davon gemacht aber jedes.einzelne.Mal bin ich total geflashed und fahr absolut beseelt nach Hause. Tolle Leute, jede Menge Energie und man kann nicht anders, als motiviert nach Hause fahren. Paar Takeaways 1️⃣ Selbstständig -- aber nicht allein. Selbstständige denken häufig, dass sie allein unterwegs sind. Das ist im täglichen Doing auch der Fall. Aber das gute: es gibt noch 3,8Mio andere, die exakt in der gleichen Situation sind. Und sobald sie zusammenkommen ist da Erleichterung, Wissensaustausch und Motivation. 2️⃣ Die Vielfalt machts! Jung und alt, weiss und schwarz, Immobilienmensch und Friseurberatin - Selbstständige sind Vielfalt! Und das macht diesen Sektor so spannend. Warum funktionieren sie als Gruppe? Weil sie alle die gleichen Werte teilen. Gemeinsam sind wir stark. Wegen unserer Vielfalt! 3️⃣ Michael Leibrecht is the man! Micha und ich kannten uns vorher nur über Social Media. Und was er da aufgezogen hat, absolut cool. Bei Menschen wie Micha weiss man, dass ist erst der Anfang. Freu mich auf das, was kommt! Hello, Barcelona! What a busy, intense, but highly productive week. It’s lovely when you can achieve all your goals and feel renovated to keep working even more intensely. Barcelona itself is already refreshing—great weather, people, and food. But it also enabled me to invest good time with good work. This visit was to attend the Spring.IO conference with part of our backend team. It has been a while since I’ve coded, but being with the team and understanding their world was amazing. And, of course, I missed a bit of my coding time. I also spent a whole day with Roger B., our VP of Design, and we had lots of productive strategic discussions about the possibilities of shaping the future and the collaboration between engineering and design. Finally, I could meet with very talented people and get to know some inspiring startups. It’s time to head back home and re-energize for the next week. Exciting times. LG 🚀
