🎉 – Summer Party in Ulm – 😎 Beaming sunshine; festive mood; bouncy castle. To grill and chill with colleagues from every department is the WITec Sommerfest tradition and it was upheld on a recent Friday afternoon. There were contributed salads and desserts, an impromptu chess tournament, Euro 2024 public viewing, intense table tennis matches, and pedal-driven race cars. Thank you to everyone who put the party in motion and kept it going, with special notes of appreciation for the A/V Club & F1-paced pit crew (both pictured below). #Sommerfest #Summer #Party #TeamBuilding #Ulm #Raman #Microscopy

Our team had a fantastic time at #Graphene2024 in Madrid, where we had the opportunity to engage in insightful discussions about how our wide range of solutions for #2Dmaterials is supporting groundbreaking research in various fields. Dr Sarah Riazimehr, our researcher in residence, based at AMO GmbH in Germany delivered a captivating presentation on the immense potential of 2D materials, like Graphene, in electronics, photonics, and sensor technology. Integrating 2D materials into these industries is a crucial step in developing next-generation devices, but is not without challenges, and we are proud to be supporting this research. If you missed us at the Graphene Conference but are keen to learn more about our cutting-edge products and techniques, we would be pleased to arrange a demo. Get in touch today! – TrueMatch – Our Raman spectral database management software. Would you like to accelerate identification of sample components and create your own catalog of materials? TrueMatch is the perfect complement to WITec’s data evaluation and post-processing software. Its multi-spectral search enables researchers to identify several spectra simultaneously by returning hit rates that describe the probability of a match for each individual spectrum, while its demix search describes acquired spectra in terms of pure substances, which can then be physically located in an image. Image 1: TrueMatch; Image 2: Graphic representation of principles of the various search options in TrueMatch, clockwise from top left, simultaneous multi-spectra search (1:1 match), multiple component search, and automated and simultaneous demixing analysis; Image 3: TrueMatch user interface.
