This was something that my friend @cornfedcryptid and I talked about since I drug her into the FC5 fandom and her OC Ellie into MJ’s Canon. We desperately wanted our girls in the big family portrait but it was an idea we just kind of sat on and waited. I personally didn’t think we would ever end up doing it. But she surprised me and had the amazingly talented @reidreamer make this MASTERPIECE for an early Christmas present for me (really it is for the both of us) and honestly it’s perfect, it’s beyond both our wildest dreams of what we had pictured. All the small details, the posing… just honestly I can’t fully express how perfect this is. We both have been screaming about this since we saw sketches! If you ever have the chance to work with this amazing artist, do it.

I am of the mind it has to do with Titans - think of Valta and even Sandal - one of the theories about Sandal I always thought was fairly likely the case was he came in contact with a Titan when he was small. While the “everyone is dead” theory is cool - ngl very spooky - this seems like it would fit much easier within the lore that has been established - particularly with the Decent DLC - also from what we have seen Harding has a lot of stone based powers. Stone… The Stone… Titans.
all I can think about is Maeve - who has known Lucanis for like 10 years prior to the game seeing him with wings all of the sudden screaming “WHAT DID YOU DO?!? EXPLAIN NOW!!” shaking him - all 5ft of her. Not even bothering with the other options I had in my mind of “hi, I have missed you.” or “I see your death was exaggerated…” No… his small angry mage is gonna demand all the answers - aggressively. Cuz Mr. “Magekiller” has wings.
Release date and a new trailer is great. Love to see it - I am so excited about these things don’t get me wrong for one moment.
But please tell me there is someone else out here having massive anxiety about their PC not having good enough specs to play Veilguard. I have an Xbox x series - so I am lucky (I know this) that I will be able to play it regardless. I am just so used to my PC at this point that the idea of having to go back to a console after more than a decade of being exclusively PC for all my games is genuinely causing me some anxiety.
If I can play BG3, with over 80 mods, on high graphics without my PC catching fire I should be fine. Or so I am telling myself.
So prayer circle for everyone who is more anxious about PC specs info because you are right on the edge of “maybe it won’t play on my PC”.
