Liangliang Wang is a Staff Scientist in the Department of Radiation and Cellular Oncology at University of Chicago. Dr. Liangliang Wang has worked in cancer immunology, gut immunity and gut microbiota for six years. Currently, he is interested in targeting m6A modification reader proteins in myeloid cells to modulate the antitumor immunity and the role of the gut microbiota in the antitumor response following radiation and immune checkpoint blockade especially in colon cancer treatment. His research has also focused on investigating the role of gut microbiota and intestinal myeloid cells in treating colitis. Dr. Liangliang Wang serves as a peer reviewer for multiple journals.
