Marcin Włodarczyk is a post-doc in General and Colorectal Surgery at my Department at Medical University of Lodz, Poland. He is a very active bright young surgeon and very promising scientist interested in gastroenterology and colorectal surgery, in particular colorectal cancer and inflammatory bowel diseases. He is very active in this field and gives many lectures in national scientific meetings.
Marcin Włodarczyk is currently a member of the Association of Polish Surgeons, Polish Association of Gastroenterology, and currently he is the President of Polish Scientific Society of Wound Healing and Care Organization. He is author of more than 50 papers, book chapters and books with a summary impact factor above 70 and an h-index 7 (ISI Web of Science Core Collection). He is a member of the editorial board of Journal of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases & Disorders. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the Polish Journal of Wounds.
