Aaaaand the 4th chapter of our Merman Good Omens fanfic There are stars at the bottom of the sea is online!!

So have a little moonlight singing Crowley^^

It was the first time I made a picture entirely in colored pencils, so I said to myself “why not a night scene, with all black shirt and pants, with the sea and a part of the Revenge??”

Yeah, I hate myself sometimes…

A soft chapter before the very heavy 5th one, already written in french by @bucky1984 . All we have to do is add my little pieces, translate it in English and for me to do a piece of art^^

So, here is our sailor Aziraphale with all his tattoos!

Yes, our Azi is built like a tank(because, well, he is a sailor…), but a very soft tank^^

All the tattoos have a signification!

-The lighthouse: light of hope and protection. Also the light of God

-Ropes around the wrists: for the ones who are taking care of the ship

-7 little stars: the sailor had traveled around the seven seas

-The nautical star: it helps to travel by night

- The anchor: honor, loyalty and hope. Also for sailors who traveled safely across the Atlantic Ocean

-The swallow: the sailor had traveled more than 5000 nautical miles. Also protection and luck.

-The turtle: only tattooed if you have passed the equator line.

The wings, the Ophanim, the flaming sword, the flying fish, and the shells are linked to Aziraphale ’s story, so you have to read our fanfic to know^^

And Aziraphale also got some scars… why???

It was quite pleasant to paint, they came quite easily under my pen, except for Hob’s hair… I insulted them a lot before I could fix them^^;;

So I commissioned the lovely @designtheendless to draw Hob from my Library AU and they did such a good job! He turned out so marvellous, I can’t stop staring at him.

It’s a scene taken from chapter 9:

In passing, he signals Sylvia that he needs five more minutes until he’ll relieve her from her shift and then prints out a DIN A4 page saying “Closed for maintenance.” He shoves the sellotape into his back pocket and hurries to the staff kitchen, flips the switch on the kettle and dumps the rest of the cocoa powder into the largest pot he can find. Waiting for the water to boil, he grabs a mug and the bowl with the assorted sweets he personally filled to the brim this morning.

Sylvia shoots him a weird look as he shuffles past circulation. His arms are full with a pot, the treat bowl, a mug, and the sheet of paper fluttering between his teeth, and the outline of the sellotape holder is visible in his back pocket. He winks at her.

It was a pleasure! Can’t wait to read this 💛

I’ve got some fanarts ideas about this story too, I can’t wait to have some time to draw them^^ (so many WIP and no time at all… 😭)

And for today: the second poster for the second fanfic from the “Do It With Style Silver Screen Bang”! @captainblou is writing a retake from True Lies, and if you saw the movie, and see what Crowley is wearing in my picture, you know EXACTLY which sequence I’m talking about… 👀👀👀

I don’t wanna @ anyone because I understand how fast things seem to move in today’s landscape of streaming shows dropping entire seasons in one day, and networks pumping out new series constantly to try to attract more subscribers with no intent to actually maintain those shows over time

but I just saw someone self-deprecatingly lament that they are still thinking about a show that ended almost a year ago, making fan art and playlists for it, and I want to be very clear:

you can still create fanworks when it comes to old media!! PLEASE do!! there are always going to be new fans who will appreciate it, and veteran fans who are dying for new content and new perspectives.

also, less than a year is NOTHING. the original Star Trek series was on TV six decades ago and there are still people losing their minds over it, writing stories and reblogging gifsets daily, and that’s only one example.

a fandom lasts as long as there are people who love a thing, even if it’s only a handful of people. love what you love and write and draw and make gifs and playlists about it!

raise your hand if you still have brainrot about a show that isn’t airing
