History
editHinduja Tech Limited, established in 2009 as Defiance Technologies Limited (part of the Hinduja Group). In 2014, the company underwent a rebranding initiative and was renamed Hinduja Tech from Defiance Technologies Limited. The rebranding aimed to align the company with the Hinduja Group's brand identity and signify its global aspirations.[5]
In February 2021, Ashok Leyland purchased Nissan International's 38% stake in Hinduja Tech for ₹70 crore.[6][7]
In December 2022, Hinduja Tech acquired Drive System Design (DSD), established in 2007. DSD provides advanced engineering to an automotive, commercial vehicle, off-highway, defense and aviation industries from locations in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Asia.[4][8]
