Flyable Super Connie

I removed the claim that the EC-121 was the only flyable Super Constellation, but it has been restored with a reference, however I cant find any indication that HB-RSC has been grounded http://www.superconstellation.org/ MilborneOne (talk) 21:37, 7 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Fair enough, and I personally have no idea how many Super Connies are still flyable. But it is what the source (Aviation History magazine) unambiguously says. Maybe the other Super Connie you mentioned was grounded at the time of the publication of the edition (it says "currently" flyable, and "currently" implies that it either recently was not the only flyable one or there is some anticipation that another one soon will become flyable) Or maybe there are other Connies that are flyable, but this is the only Super Connie that is? This source[1] states that HB-RSC was grounded for the 2010 season due to wing corrosion. However, this one[2] says it was flown to Zurich in April 2011. This source[3] says HB-RSC began its life as a C-121, which may be where the source in the article's claim is coming from? --some jerk on the Internet (talk) 20:03, 13 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

e-volo VC2 first flight

The reference cited states that the VC2 was unveiled in July 2012, but it does not explicitly state that it flew at the unveiling. However, the same article does note that when the company debuted the VC1 in October 2011, it flew ten feet off the ground for 90 seconds. It's not unreasonable to assume that the VC2 flew at its premier, but it would be an assumption, not a referenced fact.
