Occasio Winery releases new 2012 Angelica (Father Duran revealed most of the recipe for Angelica in a letter he wrote to Governor Figueroa in 1833. However, the portion of the recipe that was missing did not mention the type of brandy used in fortifying Angelica, a very key component. Kinney later found historic commentaries that show that the brandy made by Father Duran and was “double distilled and twice as strong as the good father’s faith…”)
