A new 14 8000m peak summiteer

Tenjen Lama Sherpa has climbed K2 today and thus completed all 14 of the 8000 meter peaks.

He and Kristin Harila have now set the speed record by climbing these 14 peaks in just 3 months and 1 day.

Mexican climber Viridiana Alvarez has recently climbed her 14th and final 8000m peak. She climbed these peaks between the years of 2015 and 2023.

Nirmal Purja now has 42 total ascents of 8000 meter peaks, surpassing the record of 38 held by Kami Rita Cl2kliss (talk) 13:32, 2 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

List of first ascents table

I think we should take the "death statistics" out of the main "List of first ascents" table, and move it to the section on death statistics?
