Museum Opening Date?

edit

Can someone verify the date HPB was opened as a museum? I left high school in 1992, but I am positive that I had been on two or three school excursions and a visit with my grandparents. In fact, I'm pretty sure that one of those school excursions was when I was in Year 5 or 6 because it was the same year we went to Old Sydney Town. HPB is the ONE historic site in Sydney that I dislike simply because I went there so many times as a kid. The correct date must be 1981, not 1991, especially since it closed as a courthouse in 1979 - two years would be ample time to convert the premises into a museum. Or maybe my memory really is that faulty. 220.233.34.248 (talk) 13:34, 14 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Improving the page

edit

Spent hours here today. Amazing place. I have a lot of photos and collected a lot of information. It deserves a much nicer page than it currently has. I don't know if I have a lot of time, but let me see what I can come up with. The gallery photos and info box were massive. Never seen that before. Give me an hour.Sgerbic (talk) 09:43, 10 October 2015 (UTC)Reply
