A difficult scramble overall?

edit

'... difficult scramble on its south side....'

Is the mountain, other than on the south side, more than a difficult scramble in non-icy etc conditions?Varnebank (talk) 23:37, 31 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

  • The south side scramble route is the "easiest" route to the top although it's rated difficult (exposure and objective dangers will play a role). The listed technical routes would be more difficult. There is no easy way up even if route conditions are ideal is my impression from reading Kane's route description. I would certainly expect snow and maybe ice would play a part in the exact route selection given it's altitude. RedWolf (talk) 04:39, 8 May 2019 (UTC)Reply
