Martha and Mary of Bethany

The whole thing, which is certainly complicated, needs expanding and clarifying. The various sources you quote here don't seem to agree that much. The best account of the different narratives in the gospels is at Empty tomb, which is now linked. Johnbod (talk) 19:09, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Yes, as you said it is not a trivial matter at all. I guess we need more WP:RS sources as well. I will put this on my "to do list" but it will probably be next year, unless you guys want to do it now - which I would prefer! There are actually several RS sources that give the "minimal biblical facts" from which the various traditions drew their separate conclusions - but I do not have them organized right now. Yes, but I am hoping we go beyond icons and trace the biblical passages etc. as those sources do in detail. It is nt trivial, but they did a nice job from what I remember. Anyway, until next year.... History2007 (talk) 19:49, 24 May 2011 (UTC)
