Apparatus

edit

There's a lot more apparatus than are shown in the current revision. Not everything they have is in the apparatus showcase. For example, there is a Battalion 66 in addition to Battalion 6. Both are at Station 17. 6 is a Suburban, 66 is an Expedition (or Escape, I can't remember). 66 isn't listed online, but I know it's there.

Looks like E-5rat and 76.28.192.96 (which may be the same person) have "updated" the page to reflect data that can't be verified. Just because it's not shown on SFD's Aparatus showcase doesn't mean it does not exist. Trust me, there are more than 5 Battalions. Go up to Station 17 and peek inside the (temporary) garage. 6 and 66 are there. 2, 4, 5, and 7 are at other stations, and there's a reserve Battalion at each station, so that makes a total of 10, and not 5.
Because of this, I'll be reverting the edits.

E-5 rat is correct-there are only 5 battalions in the organizational chart of the Seattle Fire Department. There are 10 battalion chief's buggies, so if you are describing a piece of apparatus you are correct. Just to be clear "battalion" is not the name of a piece of apparatus-it is generally a level of command within a fire department that is more or less geographically contiguous and includes all of the operations units within that area.Patrickh31 (talk) 04:09, 20 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Energy 1

edit

This new unit is replacing Power 25,which is out of Station 25, but will Energy 1 be at 25 as well, or St. 1 or elsewhere? I learned about the unit on this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkq2jkmzQrg YellowAries2010 (talk) 05:52, 2 July 2023 (UTC)Reply
