This is incorrect: "At the time of his death, Rogers was the last surviving member of the Eisenhower Administration." Maybe it should be "last surviving Cabinet member"?

Is the William Rogers Award named for him?

any publications of his response to Feynman's comments on the commission?

Any publications of his response to Feynman's comments on the commission? Where Feynman reported Rogers as more a politician than a person leading a good investigation? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.82.44.253 (talk) 15:59, 14 June 2009 (UTC)Reply

It is a disgrace that Rogers’ role in the cover-up that Feynman exposed is not properly covered in this entry. Nicmart (talk) 21:27, 22 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

Watergate

edit

During the latter stages of the Watergate scandal, as the continuation of Haldeman & Ehrlichman in the White House became less and less tenable, Nixon apparently came to rely more and more on Rogers for the same sort of advice. (This is all very clear in the 2-vol. transcription of the Nixon tapes by Douglas Brinkley.) The question is whether Rogers was aware of what was actually happening in the cover-up, or whether (like John Connally), he was hoping for the best and merely giving advice from the "outside." However, Watergate is not mentioned at all on this page. --Michael K SmithTalk 13:29, 6 June 2015 (UTC)Reply
