European Political Community now includes Andorra, Monaco, San Marino

edit

They should be moved inside the EPC circle 2601:181:4500:39A:5500:32B3:1FA3:DC82 (talk) 23:25, 25 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Is it worth having the European Political Community here? It seems undue. CMD (talk) 03:16, 26 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
I believe its inclusion is warranted and surpasses WP:N requirements. It's relatively new in the political arena, but, its creation seems to have garnered a lot of attention as a new pan-European initiative rivaling the CoE. The EPC seems to be developing quite rapidly into a prominent structure focusing on the future of Europe, and has already been endorsed by major European powers and political figures. Since inception, it now includes nearly every state in Europe and is set to meet twice annually to discuss critical topics (war, conflict, energy security, trade) affecting millions of Europeans. I don't see what relevance WP:N has to do with this template, the notability is not at issue. The question is whether it merits inclusion in this selective template. As it stands, the European Political Community isn't even really a 'body'; it has no structures of its own, and is explicitly designed around the European Union. @Chipmunkdavis Under your suggestion, SCO should be removed from {{Supranational Asian Bodies}} as that bloc will have at least one purely-Europe country, isn't that? Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 11:43, 18 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
My opinion is more that Template:Supranational Asian Bodies is a pile of WP:SYNTH, unlike this one where at least most of the groups are related. CMD (talk) 14:11, 18 May 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Chipmunkdavis And how this isn't SYNTH?! In my opinion we should consider using British–Irish Council instead of CTA for UK-Ireland circle. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 04:28, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
In that particular case, the CTA is similar to Schengen, and the impact of one on the other is the topic of some research [1][2]. CMD (talk) 04:39, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply

Romania and Bulgaria joins Schengen in October 2023.

edit

Romania and Bulgaria is now in Schengen on October 2023. New Welaeonska (talk) 11:42, 4 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

They were scheduled to join in October but it hasn't actually happened yet, and likely won't before the end of the year. See the Bulgaria and Romania section of Schengen Area for up-to-date status. Austin Harper 19:46, 12 October 2023 (UTC)Reply
As of March 31st 2024, Romania and Bulgaria are now in Schengen with regard to air and sea borders. I'm unsure how to indicate this on the diagram, though. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Gaxtrope (talkcontribs) 09:39, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
How about in the same way Croatia is dotted-lined into EEA? 2A02:169:BB:1:B62E:99FF:FEF2:F23B (talk) 11:55, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply
Good idea! That would be a fine way to do it. Gaxtrope (talk) 17:33, 31 March 2024 (UTC)Reply

Bucharest Nine (B9)

edit

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucharest_Nine is formed by the countries of the Baltic assembly plus Visegrád group plus Romania and Bulgaria. Does any of you reading that knows how to add a line around those countries on the Euler diagram? 130.238.112.129 (talk) 01:01, 2 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Kosovo again

edit

Kosovo may be represented by UNMIK in CEFTA, but that’s not the case in the European Political Community. Kaihsu (talk) 10:16, 19 July 2024 (UTC)Reply
