The Belt and Road Agricultural Cooperation and Development Forum was held in Beijing on September 21, 2023. With the theme of "jointly promoting agricultural cooperation & sharing development opportunities", the forum was organized under the guidance of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and Xinhua News Agency. Government officials, agricultural experts, enterprise representatives, and media reporters from over 20 Belt and Road countries participated in the forum, including Chile, Belarus, Armenia, Tanzania, Zambia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Rwanda. At the event, participants engaged in meaningful exchanges and delivered speeches. During the forum, the Belt and Road Portal introduced a special page in both Chinese and English focusing on the latest progresses of international agricultural cooperation under the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. Seven specialized sections are included, namely, Focus, Forum, Projects, Cases, Insight, Videos, and Photos. The English page enhances international communication and follows the concerns of overseas audiences.
