Rename category to Scientific revolutions

The term Scientific revolution is most commonly used to refer to the Scientific revolution of the 17th century. In fact thats the subject of the Wikipedia article, Scientific revolution. To clarify the scope of this category, I suggest it be renamed Scientific revolutions. --SteveMcCluskey (talk) 14:55, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oppose – Even accepting that the article Scientific Revolution is a proper noun about a specific event, the category is clearly more generic, including such topics as Scientific method and The Structure of Scientific Revolutions. Dicklyon (talk) 05:57, 10 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
- Oppose Scientific Revolution is clearly not the topic article for this category. Either that, or a whole bunch of articles need to be removed from the category. Alternately, you could create a new subcategory called "Category:Scientific Revolution". I will note the current category is miscategorized, if the current content provides the context of the category, then it should not be categorized into "Category:Age of Enlightenment" -- 70.51.203.56 (talk) 05:39, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
