I have added the category to a few players today (Lisbon Lions, and Crerand and Hansen while passing) but now I'm concerned about the criteria since none of them had it. Is this just intended for the champions league era? I note the player list article includes both eras, and of course European Cup redirects to Champions League, so in most contexts it seems to be considered a single competition. However, if it isn't for the old Champions Cup players, I think a new category should be created, i.e Category:European Champions Cup winning players or similar. PS I also see Di Stefano already had the category, so maybe just an oversight (a pretty big one) that the players added today weren't included previously?
