From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Heichal HaTorah BeZion is a yeshiva located in Har Nof, Jerusalem.[1] It is popularly known as "Reb Tzvi's" after its founder and rosh yeshiva (not to be confused with Yeshivas Kodshim,[2] founded and headed by Rabbi Tzvi Kaplan, and also known as "Reb Tzvi's").

Heichal HaTorah BeZion was founded in the early 1980s by Rabbi Tzvi Kushelevsky. Its first home was on Yellin St. in Jerusalem, and it moved around 1988 to the former Pressburg Yeshiva building in Givat Shaul, Jerusalem.

Around 2000, the yeshiva moved to a new purpose-built building in the Jerusalem neighbood of Har Nof.

People[edit]

The rosh yeshiva is Rav Tzvi Kushelevsky.

The student body is largely English-speaking, originating from the USA, UK, South Africa and other English-speaking countries.
