English: Portrait of Philip, Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg (1779-1846), son of Frederick V, Landgrave of Hesse-Homburg (1748-1820).

"A high-ranking officer wearing a blue dolman with gold lacing over his left shoulder, in red coat with gold lacing and gold collar with blue stripes, fur-bordered cloak over his left shoulder, wearing numerous decorations including the yellow sash and breast-star of the Royal Swedish Order of the Sword (1st class) and the breast-star of the Royal Prussian Order of the Black Eagle, the cross of the Royal Prussian Order of the Red Eagle and the badge of the Imperial Russian Military Order of St. George
