Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu (16 February 1947[1] – 17 August 2021) was a Nigerian politician who served as the deputy president of the Nigerian Senate from 2001 to 2007.
Biography
[edit]Mantu was born in Pyemland in the Northern Region of British Nigeria (now in Mangu, Plateau State, Nigeria).[2]
He served as Deputy President of the Nigerian Senate from 2001 to 2007 and was a member of the Senate of Nigeria from 1999 till 2007.[3]
Mantu died from COVID-19 in August 2021.[4]
