Maria De Matteis (6 March 1898 – 9 December 1988) was an Italian costume designer. In a career spanning over four decades, she is recognized for her prolific work across stage and screen in more than 90 different productions. She was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Costume Design for her work on King Vidor's epic period drama film War and Peace (1956).
