Mohamoud Hayir Ibrahim is a Somali politician. He is considered as the longest serving state minister of finance in the history of somalia. He also served as the deputy finance minister from 2015 to 2017 .he was the State Minister for Presidential Palace of Somalia, having been appointed to the position on 12 January 2015 by Prime Minister Omar Abdirashid Ali Sharmarke. He was elected as the chairman of Puntland chamber of commerce in 2010. In 2012 he was elected as a member of Somalia parliament where he was then re-elected again in November of 2016. [1]
