Previous reviewer indicated that Youtube and medium reference were unreliable so I removed those. - @Trudluc: Hi, a lot of your article is cited directly to unreliable sources, like blogs. For example, this is a blog, and so is this, this, this, this, this, etc. GitLab and Vimeo are also unreliable. Please also review the general notability guidelines to make sure the topic is notable enough for a Wikipedia article. Generally, a good number to look for is 3 independent, reliable, sources that are entirely about the subject. Let me know if you have any other questions. Happy editing! I want to edit a google wallet

I made an edit to the Google Wallet page regarding the compatibility of iPhone 7 or later devices with Apple Wallet. I stated that this compatibility is only for Japanese Apple devices. My edit was reverted.
Could you please provide an explanation for this? If there’s additional information or guidelines I should follow, please let me know on my talk page.

- Hi Bushabezwe and welcome to Wikipedia! Unfortunately, the Meerkat article has been semi-protected because of vandalism. Luckily it won't take long to be able to edit this article: You just need to have had an account for 4 days and made 10 edits. You've already made 10 edits, so all you have to do is wait 4 days. In the mean time, there are millions of other articles you can edit. If you're looking for jobs to do, the task center has lots of options. You should also have some tasks on your homepage that have been chosen for you. And if you're looking for a surprise, Special:Random will send you to a random article to check out. Feature News
- Stewards can now globally block accounts. Before the change only IP addresses and IP ranges could be blocked globally. Global account blocks are useful when the blocked user should not be logged out. Global locks (a similar tool logging the user out of their account) are unaffected by this change. The new global account block feature is related to the Temporary Accounts project, which is a new type of user account that replaces IP addresses of unregistered editors that are no longer made public.
- Later this week, Wikimedia site users will notice that the Interface of FlaggedRevs (also known as "Pending Changes") is improved and consistent with the rest of the MediaWiki interface and Wikimedia's design system. The FlaggedRevs interface experience on mobile and Minerva skin was inconsistent before it was fixed and ported to Codex by the WMF Growth team and some volunteers. [1]
- Wikimedia site users can now submit account vanishing requests via GlobalVanishRequest. This feature is used when a contributor wishes to stop editing forever. It helps you hide your past association and edit to protect your privacy. Once processed, the account will be locked and renamed. [2]
- Have you tried monitoring and addressing vandalism in Wikipedia using your phone? A Diff blog post on Patrolling features in the Mobile App highlights some of the new capabilities of the feature, including swiping through a feed of recent changes and a personal library of user talk messages for use when patrolling from your phone.
- Wikimedia contributors and GLAM (galleries, libraries, archives, and museums) organisations can now learn and measure the impact Wikimedia Commons is having towards creating quality encyclopedic content using the Commons Impact Metrics analytics dashboard. The dashboard offers organizations analytics on things like monthly edits in a category, the most viewed files, and which Wikimedia articles are using Commons images. As a result of these new data dumps, GLAM organisation can more reliably measure their return on investment for programs bringing content into the digital Commons. [3]

In terms of the significant coverage, I was told that a grammy win was enough to qualify. I am also confused about my sources. I removed every source that didn't meet the criteria. The author's online biography was said to be permissible in order to disambiguate his name (Roy Freeland/Freirich). All of the other sources are major publications/reputable websites. - @Gabriela Jatene: Hi, yes, a Grammy nomination is enough to meet the notability guidelines for musicians, specifically criteria #8. Notability is not really an issue here. Your sources are why I declined your draft. Because this is a biography of a living person, it is especially important that all claims are cited and can be verified to reliable sources. Bandcamp and Medium are both unreliable sources because they are self-published, user-generated content. A lot of your claims relating to his books are cited directly to the publishers' websites, which are primary sources. That is not necessarily an issue in itself but it would be better if you could find some secondary coverage (i.e. reviews in reliable sources), especially for claims going beyond "he wrote this book". - Maybe, but these redirects would be kind of pointless. National World has a list of media owned by the company; turning these into redirects would just create circular links. A page I wrote was declined and I would like to explain. In my opinion, prof. lee is a [WP:ACADEMIC]] 's criteria from number 5 to 8. This is because he has been a professor at one of Korea's top universities for more than 30 years, editor-in-chief of a prestigious international journal, and president of Daegu Gyeongbuk Institute of Science and Technology in South Korea. - @Hyoshin cho: Hi, your best shot at notability is probably WP:NACADEMIC criteria #8 as the editor of a journal in their subject area. None of the other criteria apply based on what is written in the article. You could try resubmitting, but please address the tone issues which is partially why your draft has already been declined several times. The article reads like a promotional resumé at the moment. Also, how do you know of Lee Kunwoo? You uploaded a picture of him on Commons under "your own work" which means you have met him to take the picture. As for the photo, I uploaded the photo from our company's homepage, and of course, it was taken by a professional photographer from our public relations team. He is already an authorized person on the Korean Wikipedia homepage, but the American version seems to be a bit difficult. If there is anything wrong or misleading, I think it should be corrected. - @Hyoshin cho: Thank you for letting me know. First, you should make sure to appropriately disclose your conflict of interest, and in this case it may actually be a financial conflict of interest with different instructions. As to uploading the photo, if you did not take it, you do not own the copyright to it. And I can see on the university's website that it says "COPYRIGHT 2024 DGIST. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED.", which means using it on Wikipedia is violating copyright. You will have to find a suitably-licensed alternative or request that the photographer donate the image to Wikipedia. - @Neuromancer2022: Hi, yes, books are fine. The quality of your references is not the issue. A lot of the article completely lacks citations, though. For example, the "Activity in the 20th century" section, which is 8 paragraphs long, doesn't have a single citation. It is not clear to reviewers where that information came from if you do not attach citations to the claims. Feel free to resubmit once you have resolved this.
