I work frequently on paleontological taxon pages, so it is necessary for me to be able to perform uncontroversial page moves, such as multiple clades of Hyaenodonta that were promoted to family rank by a user due to WP:OR. I started working at the WP:CR backlog recently and realised I need the pagemover permission to close some RM discussions. So far I requested CSD to effectively move the page, but I will probably close more discussions in the future. Soni (talk) 10:12, 12 May 2024 (UTC)

Reason for requesting page mover rights: multiple reasons including to swap pages (as a result of RM discussions) and suppress redirects, especially R2 eligible. I understood that I won't abuse this privileged right and read the instructions. Toadette^Edit! 15:41, 12 May 2024 (UTC)
