Rollback

I have been combating vandalism and reversing a lot of edits that were unconstructive for a while now with the help of Twinkle. - I do believe, this tool will work and help me out. Ceethekreator (talk) 16:42, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done You haven't made even 50 reverts yet, and this copyright violation only a month ago gives me extreme pause. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 02:31, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Even though I haven't made 50 edits on reverting as yet, I feel rolling back/combating vandalism should be based on quality (being able to warn new users/ip users on their talk pages, knowing what is vandalism and what isn't) - which is what I've been doing, and not quantity. Ceethekreator (talk) 08:21, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not someone who gets hung up on an edit count, but directly at the top of this page it says "applicants must have a measurable track record of counter-vandalism". <50 edits is not a track record. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 14:57, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I have been reverting vandalism edits for several months now, and I am requesting rollback as it will make the process of reverting vandalism easier. VanZa39 (talk) 17:23, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@VanZa39: One question, where are you supposed to report users that are vandalizing? -- Amanda (aka DQ) 02:39, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@DeltaQuad: at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism. VanZa39 (talk) 02:47, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
 Done Ok, I'll grant for 3 weeks, at which time you will need to reapply. I'm just a little queasy going through your contribs, so we'll do a trial. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 02:49, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I may still be learning , but one of my strongest points is undoing vandalism after recognizing it. I am requesting the rollback rights so I am able to undo multiple vandalistic edits (Wether by IPs or others) instead of having to manually undo the edits which can be tough if templates were blasted, or if a user makes 5-6 edits of vandalism at once. James-the-Charizard (talk) 21:23, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done You have not been warning users on their talkpage at all. I'd recommend some time over at the counter vandalism academy. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 02:44, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Requesting rollback rights to assist in fighting vandalism. Have manually fought vandalism in the past, using the "undo" button. Natg 19 (talk) 22:50, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
 Not done You haven't been warning users on their talkpage at all. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 02:48, 27 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. I'll review the counter-vandalism guidelines and may reapply for roll back in the future. Natg 19 (talk) 23:53, 28 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to request rollback permission so that I can revert obvious vandalism so easily. Living love 23:19, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
 Not done No track record of counter-vandalism. No reverts at all. -- Amanda (aka DQ) 00:16, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I requested rollback permission around five weeks ago. At that time I had only three/four days of experience and was advised to wait around three weeks and then resubmit a request. You can look at that request (see link) for some additional information (including some information on past experience), and the reason for requesting this permission is still the same: I would like to try and use Huggle.  Not done you are not correctly differentiating between vandalism and good faith edits.[3][4][5][6][7] ~Swarm~ {sting} 02:38, 30 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
