Since this duplicate entry continues to reappear, I assume that there is doubt in some quarters as to whether these two are indeed one and ths same. Please supply details, with references, of why this may not be the case. Walgamanus 12:50, 29 September 2006 (UTC)

The source is already given on the Æthelwold of Farne article:

This indicates that Æthelwold of Farne and the so-called Ethelwold of Ripon & Lindisfarne are the same person. If you have information to the contrary, please provide sources and details, preferably by creating an article for Æthelwold of Ripon. How does his biography differ?
