Earlier VP candidate declined to run

[edit]

John Langdon was nominated for VP in 1812 and declined to run; a second Caucus nominated Elbridge Gerry. Chronicler3 (talk) 02:44, 7 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The opening to this article listing the candidates still apears to have chunks of teh lyrics to They Might be Giants song James K Polk. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 110.174.152.86 (talk) 13:47, 18 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Venue

[edit]

The article says the convention took place at the Odd Fellows Hall, but that building's article gives its construction dates at 1883 or 1891. Was there an earlier Odd Fellows Hall in Baltimore, or does one of these pages have an error? --BDD (talk) 19:43, 23 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
