Effect of War

[edit]

The series features in the Dennie Lehane book The Given Day, where he mentions that the war also caused the series to be played first in Chicago then in Boston, but no back and forth, to keep transportation to a minimum. Not sure if this is unique, but maybe worth mentioning. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 209.19.101.109 (talk) 19:18, 4 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Fall Classic?

[edit]

The term Fall Classic (as in the first paragraph) is not what I would consider common parlance amongst casual fans, nor is it defined or linked earlier in the article. I am not super familiar with Wikipedia convetions, but are these valid reasons for changing the lanugage [of the final sentence of para 1]? 2601:18B:8400:1650:8483:6A74:2BD6:93D0 (talk) 05:39, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
