Redirect[edit]

Why in the world is an article about an air force unit that has been several places a redirect to a base in Turkey that never mentions it? --Lineagegeek (talk) 18:05, 17 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It was mentioned on the base page until an IP editor removed it for no reason early this morning oddly enough. I had no information apart from the location and name of the unit when the redirect was created. Gavbadger (talk) 18:30, 17 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Interesting. I think the unit's at that base. Although there wouldn't appear to be a RS, the 39th ABW public affairs office has said it's there. I don't know if the creator of this article has given up, but I suppose we can always get an admin to clear the redirect when the article is ready to be moved from a draft. --Lineagegeek (talk) 23:06, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]
