International COP19-article Collaboration

[edit]

To launch more Wikipedia-articles in other WP-languages about the conference, and to improve the english article here, can you look to de:UN-Klimakonferenz in Warschau 2013 (Diskussion), maybe? In the German COP19-article there are more photos integrated, there's Angela Merkel's statement about per-capita emission convergence (Climate justice: "Gerechtigkeitsfrage... Wir wissen im Grunde, dass langfristig, wenn wir uns die Weltbevölkerung anschauen, jeder Einwohner dieser Erde etwa 2 Tonnen CO2 emittieren dürfte. Nun sind viele, die das hören, erst einmal sehr aufgeschreckt, wenn man davon spricht. Unser Verbündeter auf dieser Seite ist Indien...") and the linked European-parliament-decision (English and other languages possible).

Second question: Who is able to start an article-stub in French, Spain, Chinese,...? (Weblinks + Commonscat + opening-photo with text + category). Is there a WP-translator to open in a normal WP-article or discussion-page (similar like open-maps), using wictionary as a language-database? --LudwigSebastianMicheler (talk) 02:55, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yeh, the encyclopaedic quality of de.wiki articles is always impressive. But adding more poor quality photos would not improve the article. In terms of articles in other languages, amazingly the Spanish Wiki already has a stub about the 2014 conference in Lima. --ELEKHHT 10:59, 20 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
