The fourth son

The article says he was David's fourth son and that after the deaths of two older brother, he became the heir apparent. What about the third older brother? Thmazing (talk) 19:57, 15 January 2009 (UTC)

Chileab was the second son of David, and there are various theories as to why he was apparently passed over. Lukeritchie (talk) 17:54, 21 March 2013 (UTC)
